I am a Certified Health Coach and I help hard-working women transform their bodies, double their energy, manage stress and get their spark back so they can look better, feel better, perform better and get more done in less time. Most importantly, they can have time for the things that matter most in life like taking care of themselves and their loved ones. I am passionate about helping women become their most alive selves.
For far too many years I was miserable and I just knew I could not go on like that, I needed to get rid of what no longer served me. Food was a constant source of comfort. Yes, I self-medicated with food. I am also a practicing Registered Nurse and I really should have known better.
Like most people I knew what to do but I was stuck! Fast forward to the last 12 months and I am a different person. I am healthier than I have ever been and 25kg lighter. Not only have I lost an amazing amount of weight, I have lots more energy, I have learnt to love life again, to love people again. My wellness journey remains a work in progress, I haven’t yet figured it all out. I am still on my journey and continue to learn through my clients, coaches, wellness courses and reading.
I have always been passionate about empowering other women however I just did not know how I could add value to their lives. How could I help someone else if I did not know how to help myself, if I did not have the tools? In my personal journey towards wellness I have learnt so much and I would love to share my journey with others who may be going through some challenges which are affecting their wellness.
Where in the past I was surprised to wake up every morning, surprised that I was still alive and that I had survived yet another night. Now I wake up excited, and energised, refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to make a difference in other peoples’ lives. Yes, it is possible to feel good again. Yes, you can regain your health by letting me show you how you can restore balance in your body. This is what I do as a health coach. For the past few months, I’ve been discovering how to help others who are stressed out, busy professionals transform their bodies… and their lives. With the unrelenting demands of work and the obligations of life what we are doing to try to transform our bodies is no longer working and we’re searching for something better.
Sometimes we don’t know what to do to change our bodies, but more often it’s that we’re stuck in a rut and don’t know how to get out of it. 95% of our behaviour occurs out of habit, either unconsciously or in reaction to external demands.
